William came to visit me at work today. He sat at the drafting board
and sketched out a cool robot. His favorite thing though was using the
electric eraser!

A Sponge Bob Halloween
It's not even Halloween yet and we have a beavy of pics - mostly of William as Sponge Bob at the Noe Valley HArvest Festival last weekend (where he won first prize for his costume!) and at his school parade today.

A Day at the Beach
It's a gorgeous day in San Fran. Summer comes in September here.
Notice the lingering summer fog in the background enveloping the
Golden Gate Bridge.

First Day of First Grade (premier grado)
This first day went a lot smoother than last. William was happy to
join the circle and sit next to his friend Aidan and meet his new
teacher, Ms. Jonsson.

Summer Day in San Fran
Hard to believe San Fran is sooo cooold in the summer - especially
after we spent the last three weeks in tshirts and shorts on the East
coast. Our SF summer comes in Sept/Oct.

BREAKING NEWS: William's First Tooth is Out!
With a little wiggling and jiggling, out came William's first tooth this morning! That said, what's the tooth fairy's going rate these days? 25 cents? One dollar?

The Cutest Kids
Lila can't get enough of William's funny faces. These are snapshots of a ten-minute show put on by William and ten minutes of giggles by Lila in a restaurant. They stole the show.

Hee Hee Hee
In Starbucks this afternoon, Lila got a huge kick out of waving to that baby in the mirror and making her crack up!
Escape from the Playground Structure
Lila decided the playground structure wasn't to her liking and she headed out on her own today. Let us know if you see the cutest little girl in the world crawling down your street.
Shoulder's Out... Again
Last night, while putting Lila in her car seat, Laura's shoulder dislocated again. It wouldn't go back in right away and, as any of you who have this problem, that means a trip to the emergency room and a whole lot of pain meds.
About four hours later, when the meds had pretty much put her to sleep, her shoulder slipped back into place all by itself. The good news is that she's up and around today and feeling good except for a little stiffness. The bad news is that surgery is likely -- we've got to tie that arm down!
That's the news from San Francisco.

Weekend Trip to Mount Tam
Last weekend, Dukies, Laura, William, and Lilia took a trip up Mount Tamalpais. It's the highest peak near San Francisco, about 20 minutes north of the city. On the way the spotted some brave hang-gliders getting ready to fly down to the beach. William thought about going for a ride! Later they made it to the top of Mt. Tam for a picnic lunch.
